You’re invited to our Teddy Bear Picnic!

Recommended for children aged 2 to 10 years old

Paws awhile and take in the beauty of the countryside.  Enjoy a warm welcome from our Farm Ambassador, your guide throughout our special picnic activities.

  • Wagon ride to our forest.  We're going on a bear hunt. 
  • Fun games to play.
  • Bee creative in our craft zone. 
  • Snack box with treats. You're welcome to bring your own picnic lunch to supplement our snack box.
  • Animal food - kids love visiting and feeding our animals.  Cuddle some bunnies too.
  • Stay and play – Take some time to explore our Reading Trail, relax while the kids have fun playing in our playgrounds, and enjoy everything our farm has to offer.  Make a day of it! 

Join us for our Teddy Bear Picnic.  There will be lots of marvelous things to eat and wonderful games to play!

    Raw Wildflower Honey

    Bears love honey. Our bees have been busy and our honey is sweet. Enjoy the unheated, unpasteurized raw honey from the hives on our farm.

    Each season the honey is harvested in the summer and the fall if the weather treats the bees right and there is enough to harvest.
    Each season has a flavor that's unique to our farm because of the flowers and crops that are blooming at the time.

*For their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the farm's activities.

*I understand that visiting our farm is mostly an outdoor event, and I should come prepared for rain or shine conditions. The farm can be cooler, windier, and muddier than urban areas.

*There are NO refunds; this is a one-time event and goes rain or shine. We have some covered areas for our activities.

*Please be aware that we are a working farm. The ground can be uneven, the animals are unpredictable, and large equipment is present. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

*We try to keep the farm as safe and accessible as possible, but it may be difficult for some people with mobility issues to navigate.
*I understand microorganisms are naturally present in animals and soil. Some microorganisms can pose a serious hazard and potentially cause illness.
*Persons at high risk for serious infections are children under 5, the elderly, pregnant women, and those who are immunocompromised should observe heightened precautions.

*We have multiple hand-wash stations around the farm. Washing hands thoroughly - before eating, playing, after contact with the animals, and again before leaving the farm reduces the risk of illness.
*I understand that hand sanitizers are not sufficient as cleansers.

*No tickets will be refunded due to the weather conditions. In the case of a "force majeure," i.e., hurricane or tornado-type weather or COVID-related closures, we will contact applicable ticket holders.
